Our School Day
Our School Day
Our school day starts at 8.50am for all pupils from Nursery to Year 6. Some staff are on duty ready to welcome children into school as pupils enter and go directly to their classrooms. Registration begins at 8.55am and all children are expected to be in school by 9.00am. If children are late they need to report to the school office on arrival to sign their children in.
All children from Year 1 to Year 6 have a 15-minute morning break and an hour for their lunch time break. Lunchtimes are divided into separate sittings firstly with Reception along with Key Stage One followed by Key Stage Two children. Nursery eat their lunch in their own classroom.
The school day ends at 3.05pm for Nursery and Reception children and at 3.20pm for children in Year 1 through to Year 6.
Children’s school attendance is 32.5 hours a week excluding clubs and extra curricular activities.
